I am seeing a pattern with our president. Can anyone tell me what it is? It appears to me that Obama has more respect for other cultures than he has for our own country, which can be seen in these pictures.
Our first and greatest president, George Washington, would not bow to royalty as we have read in Paul Johnson’s George Washington: The Founding Father. Our founding fathers understood that as a sovereign nation and people, believing that all men have inalienable rights, that no man should bow before another man, then why has our current president forgotten this as well as some past presidents?
My question to all is why? Why have we changed our way of thinking? Why do we feel that one man is better than another? Why do we bow to people if we believe that all men our created equal? Why do we accept this way of thinking? Is it the tendency of mankind to desire a ruling class? Why, that is my question?
Please leave your comments on why you feel that we have digressed as a nation?

I do not have an issue with the President showing respect to foreign leaders, but I do have an issue with him bowing to other world leaders. He is the President of the United States of America, not a subservient peasant or some third world thug. We are the nation that has come to the beck and call of nations under siege by tyrants, we have helped rebuild nations after wars, we have brought technology to the world that has saved lives through advances in modern farming, medicine, and the understanding of the sciences. We have given countless monies and food both through charities and through the government to people in need throughout the world. If we have done all of this for the rest of the world, then why should we be the ones to bow? If anything I could understand the rest of the nations leaders wanting to bow to us. Now understand that I do not believe anyone should bow to another human being. We are all God’s children and are all equally blessed in one way or another. I do leave with the final comment that as Americans we should never be afraid to stand up for our grand nation and all we have done for humanity.
