Glenn Beck has ruffled a lot of feathers. He digs up facts and speaks his mind about them. He always has an opinion, and if you don’t have a sense for sarcasm, he can drive you nuts. One thing for sure can be said about Glenn… he fights for truth and will not hesitate to expose a dirty deed, from a conservative or liberal.
Well, evidently the media doesn’t like this (surprise, surprise!). The leftists are going crazy over him these days. Glenn Beck is turning up dirt and concocting new movements, including the 912 Project and the “Refounding Fathers”. He is making liberals nervous as people begin to question big government and remember the core principles and ideals on which this country was founded.
So, what’s their response? Boycott. This kinda makes me chuckle, because normally, a bit of mudslinging or slander usually does the trick to stifle dissenters when the media is not happy them. Oh, they have tried that… but Glenn Beck takes it with a stride and preparation that I’ve never seen before. So, boycotting has become the answer. They are making huge efforts to get advertisers and others to boycott his show altogether, having advertising removed from his time slots. Many companies (Apple, ADT, KFC, USPS, etc…) are supporting Glenn, however, many others (Walmart, CVS, Radio Shack) have taken it upon themselves to pull their advertising because they want his show off the air. In other words, these companies want to control what we can view on TV in our own homes.
As in many times past, it’s time to vote with our dollars. It’s time to make those simple and small decisions that create change in this country.
